Achieve Academic Excellence

With the notification of upcoming strike and school closures it is very important that we continue to work on our kids learning and growth. It is equally important to keep them engaged and on a routine.

Consequently, we at Shiksha Learning Inc. have come up with programs to assist kids during this difficult time.

Our Programs (Support During Strike)

5 hours per day program

10 AM to 3 PM
(early drop-off is available upon request)

Grade K – 2

We will spend 45 – 50 minutes each on the following tasks.
  • reading
  • Mathematics
  • comprehension activities
  • spellings
There will be a 10 minute break after each task.
Grade 3-9

We will spend 45-50 minutes on each of the core subjects
  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Social
There will be a 10 minute break after each task. The last 1 hour of the program will be for the students to read books together in our reading area, build puzzles or play board games with each other.

Our goal at Shiksha is to ensure that students are working on their learning according to the Alberta Curriculum during this teacher’s strike.

These programs are custom built for your child’s needs and can be paid on a weekly basis until the strike is done.

We have extended our hours to accommodate these programs but due to staff and space limitations, the spots are limited. Please call us ASAP to discuss schedule, pricing and availability.
